The 2014 edition of the Eurovision TOP 250

Dalle 11:00 CET di oggi 31 Dicembre 2014, la escradio.com sta comunicando, con tanto di conto alla rovescia (si concluderà alle 23:45 circa, tra circa 13 ore non-stop), gli esiti del sondaggio dell’Eurovision Top 250 2014,  la lista di tutte le canzoni partecipanti a tutte le edizioni dell’Eurovision Song Contest (dal 1956 ad oggi).

Il sito 12points.tv in collaborazione con diversi altri siti web quali OGAE International, EurovisionBelgium.blogspot.com,  Songfestivalweblog.nl, ESCRadio.com e LifeAfterHelsinki ha stilato per il settimo anno consecutivo la Top ‪#‎ESC250‬ –

La votazione (10 canzoni per ogni voto) è stato aperto fino al 13 di Diciembre 2014.

L’Eurovision Top 250 è il sondaggio a cui  tutti gli appassionati dell’Eurovision Song Contest partecipano, scegliendo le canzoni preferite nella storia della manifestazione dal 1956 al 2014 (59 edizioni). Il voto valido è stato quello effettuato secondo il sistema ufficiale di voto dell’ESC (approvato nel 1975), attraverso l’assegnazione di un punteggio secondo il seguente schema: ciascun utente assegna un certo numero di punti alle 10 canzoni preferite: da 1 a 7 punti rispettivamente dalla decima alla quarta, 8 punti alla terza, 10 alla seconda e 12 alla prima. In questo modo, si è formata una classifica di tutte le canzoni partecipanti e solo le migliori 250, ossia quelle che hanno ricevuto un punteggio più alto, sono entrate in questa top 250.

I risultati sono stati trasmessi in diretta su ESCRadio.com, la radio web eurovisiva per eccellenza, che trasmette 365 giorni all’anno solamente musica dell’Eurovision o legata a questa manifestazione (per esempio, brani delle selezioni nazionali dei vari paesi in gara). Visto il gran numero di canzoni (appunto, 250), la giornata è stata lunga: la 250esima canzone è stata mandata in onda alle 11:00 di ieri, quando è iniziata la trasmissione, mentre la vincitrice (ossia la prima classificata) è stata trasmessa sempre ieri sera, ma alle 23:45 circa.

“Euphoria” della svedese Loreen, che ha trionfato all’Eurovision Song Contest 2012 di Baku, ha vinto la votazione di quest’anno per la terza volta di fila, mentre due canzoni dell’edizione  2014 dell’Eurovision Song Contest, “Calm After the Storm” dei olandesi The Common Linnets si sono aggiudicati il secondo posto. Alla terza posizione di quest’anno c’è invece “Rise Like a Phoenix” di Conchita Wurst, la vincitrice in carica dell’ ESC 2014. 

La canzone al terzo posto dell’ultima edizione dell’ESC di Copenaghen “Undo” di Sanna Nielsen, ha raggiunto il decimo posto. Ed è la prima volta che i primi tre dall’ultima edizione dell’ESC sono presenti nella Top 10 dell’ESC Top 250.

Ora diamo uno sguardo ai decenni dell’Eurovision Song Contest prima della fine del millennio. In generale, le canzoni più vecchie dell’Eurovision, i “ESC classics”, ricevono meno voti. Questo è certamente dovuto al fatto che i giovani partecipino più attivamente a tali votazioni su Internet.

Dal decennio 1990, sedici canzoni hanno raggiunto i primi 100 brani dell’Eurovision Top 250 2014, spiccano il brano vincitore all’ESC 1995 “Nocturne” dei Secret Garden, “Vuelve conmigo” della spagnola Anabel Conde all’ESC 1995, seguito del brano croata all’ESC 1998, “Neka Mi Ne Svane” di Danijela, “Love Shine A Light” dei Katrina &The Waves all’ESC 1997 e del brano vincitore all’ESC 1998 “Diva” di Dana International, come i più popolari.

Dal decennio 1980, sette canzoni hanno raggiunto i primi 100 brani dell’Eurovision Top 250 2014: Il brano vincitore all’ESC 1987, “Hold Me Now” di ‘Mister Eurovision’ Johnny Logan, che rimane il più popolare, seguito dalla canzone vincitrice all’ESC 1988 “Ne Partez Pas Sans Moi” della cantante canadese Céline Dion; il brano israeliano all’ESC 1982 “Hora” di Avi Toledano; il brano all’ESC 1989 “Rock Me” dei Riva e la canzone all’ESC 1983 “Hi” di Ofra Haza.

Dal decennio 1970, dieci canzoni che hanno raggiunto i primi 100 brani dell’Eurovision Top 250 2014: il brano vincitore all’ESC 1974 “Waterloo” degli ABBA, seguito dai brani del Lussemburgo all’ESC 1973 “Tu te reconnaîtras” di  Anne-Marie David e all’ESC 1972 “Après Toi”  Vicky Leandros, rispettivamente e del brano francese all’ESC 1977 “L’Oiseau Et L’Enfant” di Marie Myriam. “Eres Tú” degli Mocedades è stato il quinto brano più popolare del decennio.

Solo quattro canzoni degli anni 60’s sono entrati tra i primi 100 brani dell’Eurovision Top 250 2014: il brano inglese all’ESC 1968 “Congratulations” di Cliff Richard, la canzone portuguesa all’ESC 1969 “Desfolhada Portuguesa” di Simone de Oliveira, il brano vincitore all’ESC 1964 “Non ho l’età” di Gigliola Cinquetti e la canzone del Lussemburgo all’ESC 1965 “Poupée De Cire, Poupée De Son” di France Gall.

Mentre il brano “Nel Blu Dipinto Di Blu” dell’italiano Domenico Modugno è stato votato il brano più popolare dalla prima decada della storia del concorso.

Per ultimo “Same Heart”, canzone israeliana della scorsa edizione dell’ESC 2014, eseguita da Mei Finegold, si è aggiudicata la 27esima posizione. Va comunque precisato che è considerato il più alto posizionamiento di una canzone che non ha mai raggiunto la finale dell’ESC, tra l’altro l’unico posto tra i primi 100 brani dell’Eurovision Top 250. 

Anche l’Italia è stata presente in questa classifica con ben 11 canzoni, seppur non nelle prime 20 posizioni. L’Italia è stata una delle nazioni più votate: a parimerito con 11 canzoni in classifica c’è la Svezia, e solo Israele ha avuto più brani su tutti gli altri (ben 12).

Nel frattempo sono state anche rese pubbliche le venticinque canzoni (posti dal 251 al 275)che erano così vicine e che proprio non ce l’hanno fatta:
